Matthew founded Tenor to provide communications services and marketing strategy to private growth companies and innovative investors. Matthew has helped launch dozens of companies, products and services in consumer and enterprise markets, working with companies from startups to Fortune 50 enterprises. His technology marketing experience spans fifteen years working with enterprise software, telecommunications, consumer internet, consumer electronics and semiconductor companies.

At Tenor, Matthew has a decade of experience in private equity, having worked with firms across the asset class from seed to growth equity funds, ranging from $100MM to $4B in assets under management. His private capital markets work includes the launch of two technology platforms for private company investing and strategic communications for several high-profile initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions. Together with the team at Tenor, he has counseled clients and managed communications on over 100 financing transactions. He most recently lead Tenor’s strategic counsel for one of the country’s oldest and most venerated financial brands.
