Senior Director (media relations & executive media training)

Channa provides strategic counsel and media training to all TENOR clients, drawing upon her journalism experience to earn media coverage that achieves specific business and financial objectives. Recently with The Weiser Group’s Washington, D.C. office, Channa focused on venture capital and financial services, while providing counsel to a broad array of companies and industry organizations.

A former broadcast news journalist, Channa was a newsanchor at WCTI-TV in New Bern, North Carolina, and before that an anchor/reporter at WHSV-TV in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Her features, focusing on the plight of foster children, garnered the “One Church One Child” award of excellence from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Channa began her career in broadcast in consumer research/production at WRC-TV in Washington, DC.
